Dear Father who art in Heaven...
Please join our family on this Thanksgiving Day
and bless each one as we sit down to pray
as we remember those who have joined you above
so dearly missed and deeply loved.

Please provide us strength on this Thanksgiving Day
Bless us with memories of those faraway...
Please grant patience to family and friends as we grieve
and help us reach out to others who are bereaved.

We give thanks to you on this Thanksgiving Day....
For Your presence in our lives each and everyday.
For Your comfort, guidance, and never ending love...
And for taking care of our loved ones...in Heaven above.

As we light this candle on this Thanksgiving Day...
And it glows in memory of those in Heaven today....
May their lights always shine down on us and give us light...
And may we feel their presence along with yours tonight.

Yet for us, the living, who remain to mourn the loss,
To feel the pain, to bear the shock, to question why
in God’s great plan they had to die, there is no peace,
No rest , no light nothing but an endless night.

When we, defeated by the truth, surrender to death’s
Other face, robbed of innocence and youth,
No power on earth can e’er replace,
Only in this, our darkest hour, can we truly hope to find
Among our tears God’s healing power, among our fears
True peace of mind, the simple faith to save our soul,
That perfect love to make us whole.

Against the sadness and the sorrow with every ounce of faith
Confessing hope for a better life tomorrow in our mourning
We find blessing.

The Holidays will be here before we know it! Each new day brings another day we must tread a path we have not chosen to walk. Each day brings a day we must use our strength we feel has been lost. Each day brings again the realization that our loved one is not longer with us and we must go on.

The only way I have made it this far is by God's grace to give me strength, my friends who keep me going and are there for me. You my Angel Families friends and Memory-of friends have supported me and my family in such ways nobody else could. Your kind words each day on Dusty amd Billy's sites soothes our aching hearts.

Thank you for being there not just on a special day but everyday. We pray for all of you daily and keep you in our thoughts. I have said it many times and will continue to say, "TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE IT!"

Sorry I aint bin in touch for ages - this year seems to be going so fast!

Well, apparently I am seriously ill - except I don't feel it. I mean so what I got pressure sores? They will mend eventually - if it hadn't been for the district nurses Id still only have two! Anyway, somehow that has affected my blood level and I had an iron level of 7.1, which is apparently dangerous, so they put me in hospital and poured 3 units into me, then gave me lots of lectures on eating properly! I feel a bit better now, just bloody hungry - constantly! At least I don't feel as cold now - it was getting a bit ridiculous having to wear jumpers even during the hot spell.

Gotta take antibiotics for an infection I (apparently) have in my leg. My Mum scared me saying that they have been told I could die. In a way I wouldnt mind - just to be with you, but I know what Bethany is going through, so I gotta keep going.

I know one thing for certain - unlike yours there'd be hardly anyone at my funeral - I just wonder exactly who would miss me? Your Mum and Beth, Abigail and Matthew ... my mate Annette - but as my Dad once said "If I found you dead, I'd throw a party!" I doubt they would miss me, or not for long.

Oh you got me going now - tears are flowing cos I miss you - and I'm scared - I so scared of hospitals after what u went through but can't talk to anyone about it cos I'm supposed to be "over" you now. Scared of taking medicine in case it poisons me - well Ive always had that one. Gonna get some help about it cos not many medicines for adults come in liquid form - trying hypnotism first then some talking therapy which also involves practical stuff.

Anyway - I'm gonna be phoning a psychic line or three tonight so come through if you can.

Hi Mate

Sorry I aint bin in touch lately - been really busy doing not a lot (or so it seems).

Passed my assignments at uni - 72 % for Social Policy (the one your Mum read about teenage pregnancies), 58 % for Ethics and the same for Counselling, which means, if I can keep it up, I will be awarded at least a 2:1 and maybe even a 1st! So not only will I be the first disabled qualified youth worker but the first in my family to be awarded a first class honours degree! Fingers will be held up to all concerned!

Really missing my chats with yer Mum at moment - I know everyone has been poorly, but I need her too! Any chance of sending down a heavenly hint?

Been REALLY missing you of late - been drinking coffee most of the time - Abigail has been having tummy trouble so maybe that's why - I need your advice on her!

Anyway, TTFN - and when you come into my garden as that beautiful butterfly - keep yer wings open then I can take a piccy!
